Fund for Shariah Scholars in Islamic Finance

The Fund for Shariah Scholars in Islamic Finance was established by Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank Of Malaysia) in June 2005 with the primary objective of enhancing the knowledge, research, talents, and intellectual discourse in the field of Islamic finance.

The Fund is aimed at supporting further advancement of the fast growing Islamic financial industry. The first of its kind in the region, the Fund will provide scholarships and research grants, as well as organise intellectual Shariah discourses.

The Fund is part of Bank Negara Malaysia's commitment to strengthen the development of the Islamic financial industry.
