Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) is organising a conference on "Monetary Policy in the New Normal", to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 10-11 June 2013. The aim of the conference is to generate an active discourse on current issues surrounding monetary policy. It is hoped that through this conference, participants could enrich the existing body of work on the issues and challenges in the conduct of monetary policy, and importantly, provide insights into the effective conduct of monetary policy in the challenging environment going forward.
