Awareness Programme – "E-payment options for Government payments"

As part of the continuous effort in facilitating businesses’ migration to e-payments, Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (Kastam), had organised an awareness programme on the various e-payment options available in making statutory payments to Kastam, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN), Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) and Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO). The half-day programme was held on Thursday, 26 November 2015 at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia.

The topics presented include:

  1. Usage of Taxpayer Access Point by Kastam;
  2. Step by step process on how to make payments to government agencies using FPX and Direct Debit by banks' representatives; and
  3. Demonstration on e-payment options available by representatives from LHDN, KWSP and PERKESO.

In conjunction with the event, 7 banks, 4 Government agencies and MyClear had also set up exhibition booths to, showcase the e-payment services available and facilitate participants to experience firsthand on how these transactions can be conducted.
