Guidelines to Apply for Money Changing Business Licence
The pre-requisite requirements to for applying money changing licence under the Money Changing Act 1998 are as follows:
- A company registered under the Company's Act 1965; and
- A minimum paid-up share capital unimpaired by losses of RM100, 000 or such other amount as the Minister may prescribe.
It is Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) policy to give licence only to company which operate money changing as its sole purpose business.
