Proposed Replacement of Existing Coastal Protection (Geotube) Works at Sri Kijang Langkawi, Bank Negara Malaysia

Bank Negara Malaysia is inviting qualified and experienced contractors/vendors who fulfil the requirements listed below to participate in the above-mentioned tender.

Mandatory Requirements

Only companies meeting the following requirements will be considered:

(Please bring the following document for tender collection)

  • Malaysian registered company / business;
  • Company with at least 2 years’ experience in Coastal Protection (Geotube) works;
  • Positive net worth for last financial year;
  • Submission of Earnest money RM2,500.00 (refundable); and
  • Declaration of No Litigation against the Company and / or its Directors.

Other Requirements

The successful tenderer is required to submit:

  • GST certificate by Custom, (if any);
  • Acceptance of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010 Notice as attached; Lampiran 1 (Compulsory)
  • Company Profile;
  • The list of workers (which shall contain the names of the workers and their NRIC numbers) shall be submitted and approved by Bank Negara Malaysia prior to the commencement of the Project. Only Malaysians shall be permitted to work inside Bank Negara Malaysia’s premises

Issuance of Tender Documents

Tender documents can be obtained from:

  • Facility Management, CSS Bank Negara Malaysia, Level 4, Sasana Kijang, 2, Jalan Dato' Onn, 50480 Kuala Lumpur or
  • Sri Kijang Langkawi, Bank Negara Malaysia, Lot PT839,  Jalan Pantai Chenang, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah

and can be collected during normal working days between 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, from 3 September – 5 September, 2018.

Site Visit / Site Briefing

Tender briefing will be conducted during Site Visit on 5 September 2018, Wednesday (2.30 pm) at Sri Kijang Langkawi, Bank Negara Malaysia,  Lot PT839, Jalan Pantai Chenang, Langkawi, Kedah

  • The tenderer need to submit official letter of company representative to attend the site visit and submit a copy of representative identification card at least 1 day before site visit.
  • Site Visit Meeting is compulsory.

Submission of Tender Documents 

The tender documents shall be duly completed, signed and enclosed in 3 (Three) sealed envelopes, marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope as follows:

Closing Date of Tender Submission

The tender documents and PDPA Notice are to be submitted in the Tender Box not later than 3.00 p.m on Tuesday, 11 September, 2018

Bank Negara Malaysia shall not be responsible for any lost of tender document or delayed tender submission. Proof of posting shall not be accepted as evidence for the submission of quotation.  Bank Negara Malaysia is also not bound to accept the lowest or any quotation nor will it be responsible for any cost incurred in relation to this tender.

BNM reserves the right to reject the tender/quotation submitted by a company which fails to comply with the requirements.
