- Library Management Hybrid Solutions - refers to the combination of High Frequency (HF) RFID and Electro Magnetic (EM)
- Turnstile System
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) invites qualified and experienced vendors who fulfil the requirements listed below to participate in the submission of proposal and price quotation for the above mentioned services. Vendors must be able to provide all three solutions mentioned above and manage the integration accordingly.
Mandatory Requirements
Only companies that meet the following requirements will be considered:
- Must be a locally incorporated and legally registered company in Malaysia;
- A single tenderer must work together with three (3) Principals to provide the solutions of:
- The Library Management System (LMS),
- Library Management Hybrid Solutions (LMHS), High Frequency (HF) RFID and Electro Magnetic (EM) and
- Turnstile System.
- The single tenderer AND all three (3) Principals must have undertaken similar types of integrated solutions, at least three (3) times, in the last 7 years. Regardless of the integrated solutions done before, any previous project must have at least included provision of an LMS.
- Please provide the following information of references for the previous projects:
- Name of organisation and year of setup
- Details of the project
- Contact Details of References (email address and telephone number)
- Please provide the following information of references for the previous projects:
- Must have positive net worth for the last 3 years of audited financial statements.
RFP Documents
1. The RFP documents will be available from 10:00 a.m., 29 March 2021 until 3.00 p.m. 30 April 2021. (link)
2. BNM reserves the right to select and/or shortlist a company/ a group of companies or otherwise reject the proposal with no obligation to inform the company on the reasons for rejection.
Submission of RFP Document
1. The RFP document must be duly completed, signed and enclosed as hardcopy printouts in sealed envelopes. A set of softcopy of the same documents stored in a flash drive must also be included in the envelope. Please ensure that the flash drive and the contents have been scanned and cleared from any potential malware before submission.
2. Two (2) sealed envelopes are to be submitted for the Project;
- Envelope A containing the technical proposal submission; and
- Envelope B containing the commercial proposal submission
3. One (1) sealed envelopes is to be submitted for the Maintenance;
- Envelope C containing the maintenance proposal submission
4. Envelopes A and B must be sealed and dropped into the Tender Box located at:
