Request for Proposal (RFP) for Event Management Services for MyFintech Week 2022
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) will be hosting MyFintech Week 2022 (the Event) on 24-28 January 2022 as a platform to explore the opportunities and challenges in harnessing fintech innovations and discuss the future development of the financial services industry. The Event will be held virtually and is expected to convene participants from across the fintech ecosystem including innovators, investors, policy-makers, academia, fintech influencers, and industry leaders in the fields of finance, banking, and technology.
BNM invites qualified and experienced professional conference organisers (the Suppliers) who fulfil the mandatory requirements listed below to participate in the above-mentioned tender.
Only the Tenderers meeting the following requirements will be considered:
Registered/ Incorporated company with presence in the Asia Pacific region;
Positive net worth in the last audited financial year and/ or any other proof to show company's on-going credit serviceability and overall financial viability;
Has organised at least one (1) virtual conference(s)/ similar event(s) with at least 1000 delegates;
Has at least three (3) years of experience in organising professional conferences and providing related-services;
Has not been terminated by any party for non-performance or breach of contract in the past three (3) years; and
No litigation or dispute has been instituted against the company and its directors.
All tenderers are required to submit the following supporting documents as proof for the above from 30 March to 30 April 2021:
Companies Commission Malaysia Certificate of Business Registration and/or other proof of business registration with the respective state/ governmental entity;
Audited financial statement in 2020 financial year and/ or proof documents;
Proof documents/ Customer list and reference;
Proof documents of the history of projects executed;
Declaration of no non-performance or breach of contract in the past three (3) years; and
Declaration of no litigation or dispute has been instituted against the company and/ or its directors.
Scope of Work
Tenderers are expected to provide the following services and products:
Develop and implement the conference design, concept, and theme that meaningfully cover the latest trends and developments, strategies, challenges, and opportunities surrounding fintech and digitalisation as well as sustainability in financial services;
Provide and manage the logistics of the event, including the development of the website and virtual platform to host the event, as well as registration and platform management prior to and during the event;
Develop and deliver detailed plans and monitor implementation timeline for all events and activities for the Event;
Identify, invite and manage collaborations with speakers, resource persons, exhibitors, and sponsors;
Engage and manage third-party vendors to carry out specific tasks concerning the Event;
Maintain proper documentation of expenditures, including contracts, invoices, receipts, audit reports, etc.;
Update and consult the Bank’s team as well as liaising with strategic partners to ensure the smooth running of the event; and
Manage post-event reporting (analysis of evaluation forms and other event engagement statistics).
Issuance of Tender Document
In your indication of interest please attach the above mandatory requirements in PDF format by 29 April 2021 (Thursday) at 6:30 pm. Bank Negara Malaysia will not provide any acknowledgement of receipt in response to the indication of interest by the suppliers.
Bank Negara Malaysia disclaims all liability for the Tender Document that is not received by the suppliers.
Only suppliers that have been issued the Tender Document are allowed to participate in the Tender Exercise.

Submission of Tender Proposals
The deadline to submit the tender proposals is on 30 April 2021 (Friday) at 6:30 p.m.
BNM shall not be responsible for any delay in the submission of any tender proposal or the loss of the related documents should they be submitted through any other means than that stipulated by BNM.
BNM reserves the right to reject any tender proposals, which do not comply with BNM’s requirements.
