Amundi Aalam Sdn. Bhd. (AASB) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amundi Malaysia and Amundi Singapore Limited, which in turn, is a subsidiary of the Amundi Group in France. AASB have been working closely with Amundi’s global sales team and investment teams to promote shariah-compliant investment capabilities and products.
In Malaysia, the Company’s action plan will be to continue to build up its client base to include insurance companies, corporations, government agencies and other unit trust fund management companies.
Area of Services
The company has four (4) key roles in Malaysia:
- Amundi’s Global hub for shariah–compliant product developments;
- Amundi’s Global hub for Islamic debt management;
- A designated investment centre for Domestic and Asia ex-Japan Shariah-compliant equities; and
- A distribution center to promote Amundi Group’s shariah-compliant investment capabilities in Malaysia.
Awards/Accolades/Achievements
Amundi Aalam was awarded "Best International Equity Fund Manager” by a large local pension fund in their overall category for the FTSE Shariah Developed Equities Mandate 2023.
