SC issues guidance note on sukuk to strengthen alignment with Maqasid al-Shariah

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) today issued the Guidance Note on Sukuk: An Alignment with the Maqasid Al-Shariah Guidance Islamic Capital Market Malaysia to strengthen the alignment of sukuk issuances with Maqasid al-Shariah.

In a statement today, the SC said the Guidance Note is an initiative under the Capital Market Masterplan 2026-2030, supporting the development of ethics-driven products and the continued growth of Malaysia’s Islamic capital market.
