Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad is the Islamic banking subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia. It was incorporated in 2008 as a full-fledged Islamic bank, following Standard Chartered's pioneering role as the first international bank in Malaysia to offer Islamic banking products starting in 1993. Saadiq offers a comprehensive range of Shariah-compliant financial products and services to individuals, SMEs, and corporates, operating under strict Shariah supervisory standards to ensure compliance with Islamic law.
