Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has completed its annual assessment of domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs) based on data as at end-2025. The assessment indicates that the list of banking groups designated as D-SIBs, as well as their corresponding higher loss absorbency (HLA) requirements, remains unchanged.

Moving forward, BNM will communicate the outcome of the annual D-SIB assessment via public notice, unless otherwise notified.
