The international reserves of Bank Negara Malaysia amounted to USD101.4 billion as at 31 December 2018. The reserves level has taken into account the quarterly adjustment for foreign exchange revaluation changes. The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.4 months of retained imports and is 1.0 time the short-term external debt.
