Bank Negara Malaysia has issued the Strategy Paper on Advancing Shariah Contract Applications for a More Productive and Inclusive Economy in line with Shariah Objectives. This Strategy Paper sets out Bank Negara Malaysia’s strategic direction to advance the purposeful and diverse application of Shariah contracts in addressing evolving financing, investment and protection needs. It seeks to broaden the range of viable Shariah-compliant solutions and strengthen the contribution of Islamic finance towards productive economic activities, sustainable value creation and positive societal outcomes, in line with Shariah objectives.
