ROLE PURPOSE
Identifying opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence technology to improve bank operations, enhance financial stability, and promote economic growth, all while adhering to principles of responsible AI and strong governance frameworks. Responsible for the entire lifecycle of developing solutions from ideation and user research to design, development, and launch.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Identify opportunities for AI product development within the bank environment. This involves analyzing internal processes, researching emerging AI technologies and staying abreast of industry trends in banking and AI adoption, with a focus on responsible AI applications.
  • Conduct user research to understand the needs of both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on how AI can improve their experience or workflows while considering ethical implications.
  • Develop user personas and user journeys specifically for AI products, considering factors like explainability, trust, potential biases, and responsible AI principles.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, security experts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure AI product designs are feasible, meet user needs, align with bank objectives, adhere to ethical considerations, and follow established AI governance framework.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AI trends and technologies, particularly those with potential applications in central banking (e.g., anomaly detection for financial risk management, economic forecasting models), with a focus on responsible AI advancements.
  • Manage product roadmaps, prioritize features based on business needs, technical feasibility. Conduct user testing to iterate andimprove AI product functionality while ensuring alignment with AI governance framework.
  • Develop and train AI models based on business needs and ensuring alignment with AI governance framework.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital product development and at least 2 years in AI product development.
  • A Malaysian citizen.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, machine learning algorithms, large language models, and principles of responsible AI
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with python, AI model training, rag, knowledge graph will be added advantage
