Dato' Sri Rasheed Ghaffour
Governor, BNM
Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour is the 10th Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia. He was appointed for a five-year term effective 1 July 2023. In his role as Governor, Rasheed also serves as the chair of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Monetary Policy Committee and Financial Stability Executive Committee.
Rasheed joined the Bank in 1988 and has helmed various positions across the breadth of the Bank’s primary functions. These include monetary policy and economics, international reserves management and financial markets, financial sector development, and banking regulations. In 2016, he assumed the role of Deputy Governor.
Rasheed has also played a leading role in driving the Bank’s advocacy efforts on economic affairs, including in the areas of social protection and labour market reforms. This includes to support and advise the Government on issues relating to the management of the pandemic. He also played key roles in the development and implementation of the Financial Sector Masterplan and Financial Sector Blueprints.
At the international level, Rasheed has served and been a member of various international platforms, such as the Islamic Financial Services Board and Bank for International Settlements. He has also championed various efforts to strengthen regional financial integration and cooperation, such as the ASEAN Banking Integration Framework. Previously, he also served as the Alternate Executive Director of the Southeast Asia Voting Group Office of the International Monetary Fund.
Rasheed attended St. John’s Institution in Kuala Lumpur, prior to obtaining his Bachelor of Economics from Universiti Malaya. Rasheed also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
YM Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Aziz
Chairman, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)
Tengku Zafrul Aziz is currently the Chairman of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Senior Political Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
He has over 22 years of experience in banking and finance. Prior to his current roles, he served as Malaysia’s Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry from December 2022 to December 2025 and Minister of Finance from March 2020 to October 2022. Before entering public service, he held various senior leadership positions in the financial sector, including Group Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Group, President Commissioner of PT Bank CIMB Niaga, and leadership roles at Maybank, Citigroup Malaysia, Kenanga, Avenue Securities and Tune Money.
Tengku Zafrul holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, and a Master of Arts in Finance and Management from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
Adnan Zaylani Mohamad Zahid
Deputy Governor, BNM
Adnan Zaylani was appointed as Deputy Governor on 1 September 2023. He is the Deputy Governor with responsibility over the financial markets and development sectors.
He joined BNM in 1994 and began his career as a foreign exchange trader and portfolio manager. During his time at the Bank, he has held various leadership roles across the financial markets, investment and development sectors, including serving as Assistant Governor responsible for financial markets, investment, foreign exchange administration, currency management and the development sector.
Adnan holds a Master in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, as well as a Master’s degree in Global Market Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom.
Dato' Marzunisham Omar
Deputy Governor, BNM
Dato' Marzunisham was appointed Deputy Governor on 15 June 2020. As Deputy Governor, Marzunisham is responsible for the economics as well as the digital and technology sectors.
He joined BNM in 1993 and has over 32 years of experience across various functions of central banking, including economic and monetary policy, financial sector regulation and development, financial inclusion and organisational development. He also served as Executive Director of the Southeast Asia Voting Group Constituency at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 2015 to 2017.
Marzunisham holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Mohamad Ali Iqbal Abdul Khalid
Assistant Governor, BNM
Iqbal was appointed Assistant Governor on 1 June 2024. As Assistant Governor, Iqbal will oversee the Investment, Market Operations and Development, Treasury Risk and Infrastructure and Foreign Exchange Policy departments.
He joined BNM in 2002. He has served in various departments in BNM, including the Investment Operations and Financial Market Department, the Governor’s Office, the International Department and as Chief Representative at both Bank Negara Malaysia Representative Offices in New York and London.
Iqbal holds a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Master of Science in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University and a Master of Engineering from the University of Durham, United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Chartered Banker (CB) from the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB).
Suhaimi Ali
Assistant Governor, BNM
Suhaimi Ali is a career central banker and was appointed as Assistant Governor on 1 April 2022. He currently oversees the Financial Development and Innovation, Islamic Finance, as well as Financial Inclusion departments.
Throughout his career with BNM, he served in various areas including financial sector development, regulation and supervision, strategic planning, consumer protection, market conduct, international negotiations, digital and cyber strategies in IT services, as well as in the Governor's Office.
In his previous role as the Director of the Financial Development and Innovation, he was responsible for the development of the financial sector and payments systems, as well as to drive digital innovation within the sector. He also recently led the development of the Financial Sector Blueprint 2022 – 2026.
Suhaimi Ali graduated from the University of Notre Dame, USA with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree.
Yun Liu
Senior ASEAN Economist, Director, HSBC
Yun Liu is a Senior ASEAN Economist at HSBC, based in Hong Kong. In her role, she is responsible for analysing economic developments and providing macroeconomic insights on ASEAN economies.
She joined HSBC in April 2019. Prior to this, she worked at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC, as a Research Analyst. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience covering Asian economies and emerging markets across roles in Washington, DC, and Sydney, and has consistently been recognised among the top forecasters for ASEAN economies.
Yun holds a Master of Arts in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, United States, and a bachelor's degree in International and Global Studies (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney, Australia.
Aznan Abdul Aziz
Deputy Governor, BNM
Aznan was appointed Deputy Governor on 1 April 2025. As Deputy Governor, Aznan is responsible for the supervision and regulation of the financial sector.
He joined BNM in 2004 and has served in various departments throughout his career, including the Financial Conglomerates Supervision, Governor’s Office, Islamic Banking and Takaful, Financial Sector Development, Financial Intelligence Unit, Financial Surveillance and Bank Regulation Departments. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor, he chaired the Financial Technology Enabler Group, where he was responsible for developing strategies and regulatory policies to facilitate the adoption of technology in financial services. He also served as Assistant General Manager of Danamodal Nasional Berhad.
Aznan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
Dato' Ooi Sang Kuang
Former Deputy Governor of BNM and Former Chairman of OCBC Bank Singapore
Ooi Sang Kuang is a former Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, having served as Deputy Governor and Member of the Board of Directors from 2002 to 2010. He subsequently served as Special Advisor to Bank Negara Malaysia until his retirement in 2011.
He has extensive experience in central banking and financial services. Following his retirement from Bank Negara Malaysia, he has held various board leadership positions in the financial sector, including as Chairman of OCBC Bank Singapore from 2012 to 2023, and as Chairman of OCBC Bank Malaysia, OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad and Cagamas Berhad, as well as directorships in several financial institutions and investment entities.
Ooi holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Malaya and a Master of Arts in Development Finance from Boston University, United States. He is a Fellow of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
Nurhisham Hussein
Economic Advisor, Prime Minister’s Office
Nurhisham Hussein is an Economic Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia, where he serves as Senior Director of Economy and Finance. In his role, he advises the Prime Minister on economic policy, including fiscal strategy, investments, business development and macroeconomic planning.
He has extensive experience in the financial and investment sector. Prior to joining the Prime Minister’s Office in 2023, he served in various senior leadership positions at the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), including Chief Strategy Officer and General Manager of Economics and Capital Markets. He also held roles at Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC) and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), covering economic research, credit analysis, fund management and investment strategy.
Nurhisham holds a Bachelor of Science in Monetary Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom, and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Malaya.
Datuk (Dr.) Nora Manaf

Datuk (Dr.) Nora Manaf is the Chairman of Manaf Gardner Associates (MGA). She also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Board member of MBSB Group, and is a Director and Board member of Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK)
Nora has over three decades of experience in human capital management, organisational transformation and leadership development. From 2008 to 2024, she served as Group Chief Human Capital Officer at Maybank, where she led the Group’s human capital strategy and played a key role in its organisational transformation. Prior to Maybank, she held various leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank and Maxis.
Nora holds a PhD by Practice from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, Cornell University and Universiti Teknologi MARA. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Chartered Banker (CIB), Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and Master Professional of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP).
Farhana Roslan
Head of Research, PNB Research Institute (PNBRI)
Farhana Roslan is the Director of Research at PNB Research Institute (PNBRI), responsible for overseeing all research activities and agenda at the Institute.
Farhana began her career as a financial analyst at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) before transitioning into public policy and research. She has worked across international organisations, public policy institutions and government, contributing to research and policy development on issues including inequality, inclusive growth, fiscal policy, social protection and public sector reform. At PNBRI, her research focuses on wages, income dynamics and savings behaviour among Malaysian households.
Farhana holds a Bachelor of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom, and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, United States.
Dr. Yeah Kim Leng
Director, Economic Studies Programme, Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia
Yeah Kim Leng is Professor of Economics and Director of the Economic Studies Program at the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia, Sunway University. In his role, he leads research and policy analysis on economic and regional development issues.
He has extensive experience spanning academia, economic research and the private sector. Prior to joining Sunway University in 2016, he served as Dean of the Business School at Malaysia University of Science and Technology. Before entering academia, he spent nearly three decades in the private sector, including as Group Chief Economist of RAM Holdings Berhad and Managing Director of its consultancy subsidiary. He began his career in the forestry sector before transitioning to economics and policy research at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia.
Yeah holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Universiti Putra Malaysia, as well as a Master of Business Administration and a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Hawaiʻi, United States.
Chu Kok Wei
CEO, Group Wholesale Banking and Corporate Treasurer, CIMB Group
Chu Kok Wei is the Chief Executive Officer of Group Wholesale Banking and Corporate Treasurer at CIMB Group. In his role, he oversees CIMB’s wholesale banking franchise across Southeast Asia, Greater China and the United Kingdom, and is responsible for fixed income investments as well as funding, liquidity and balance sheet management operations.
He joined CIMB in 2003 and has over two decades of experience in banking and financial markets. Throughout his career at CIMB, he has held various leadership positions, including Group Head of Treasury & Markets, where he played a key role in building the Group’s treasury and markets franchise. He has also contributed to the development of Malaysia’s financial markets through leadership roles in industry and central bank-led committees.

Tengku Azmil Zahruddin serves as Chairperson of CelcomDigi Berhad and CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited. He is also the Senior Independent Director of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad and CIMB Bank Berhad, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sime Darby Berhad.
Tengku Azmil has extensive experience in finance, investments and corporate leadership. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and Hong Kong before serving as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines. He later joined Khazanah Nasional Berhad, where he held leadership roles including Executive Director of Investments and Chief Investment Officer, overseeing the organisation’s investment portfolio and international investment activities.
Tengku Azmil holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Harizal Alias

Harizal currently serves as the Director of the Financial Development and Innovation Department at Bank Negara Malaysia. He has spearheaded key initiatives in digital bank licensing, fintech development, and financial innovation. Prior to this, Harizal held the role of Deputy Director, overseeing domestic banking group supervision, and was seconded to the International Monetary Fund as an Adviser. He brings extensive expertise in financial sector transformation, cross-border regulatory collaboration, and inclusive innovation.
YM Raja Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz
Group CEO, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad
YM Raja Datin Paduka Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad on 1 April 2026. As Group Chief Executive Officer, she leads the overall strategic direction and management of the Bank.
Raja Teh has more than 30 years of experience across investment, wholesale, Islamic and digital banking. Prior to joining Bank Islam, she served as the founding Chief Executive Officer of AEON Bank (M) Berhad, Malaysia’s first Digital Islamic Bank. She has also held senior leadership positions at AmBank Group, Hong Leong Group and Bursa Malaysia, as well as international roles with Bank AlKhair in Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House.
Raja Teh holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of East London, United Kingdom, and was conferred an honorary Doctorate of Laws by the same institution. She is a Fellow Chartered Banker (Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers) and a Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals).
Nurul Izza Idris
Director, Islamic Finance Department, BNM
Nurul Izza Idris leads strategic development and risk regulation for Islamic finance at the Central Bank of Malaysia. She has spearheaded key financial sector development initiatives including, most recently, in social finance, digital finance and inclusive risk protection. She represented the Bank in several committees including the IFSB Technical Working Group on Takaful Core Principles and participated as an Islamic finance consultant to the IMF’s Financial Sector Assessment Program for Indonesia. She contributed to the development of the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 and the Financial Sector Blueprint 2022-2026. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LLM) and University College London (LLB), she is deeply committed to shaping finance towards improving lives and livelihoods.
Crispian Cuss
APAC Head of Sustainability, Citi
Crispian Cuss is APAC Head of Sustainability at Citi, based in Singapore. In his role, he advises the bank’s businesses on the intersection of energy, climate and clean technology, helping navigate the transition landscape across policy, markets, geopolitics and industrial development.
Crispian has experience spanning the public and private sectors across defence, energy and finance. Prior to joining Citi, he worked at Standard Chartered, where he helped develop the bank’s approach to Net Zero and co-authored its Net Zero methodology. Before banking, he worked closely with the energy sector, focusing on energy security, industrial policy, infrastructure investment and the commercialisation of clean technologies across Asia and other emerging markets.
Crispian holds a degree in History from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He is also a former British Army officer.
Siti Safinah Salleh
CEO, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission)
Siti Safinah Salleh is the Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga), with her appointment taking effect on 19 February 2025.
She has extensive experience across the telecommunications, digital economy, investment and energy sectors. She began her career with Telekom Malaysia Group and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) before joining Khazanah Nasional, where she held various leadership roles in governance, risk and compliance, strategic planning and portfolio management.
Prior to joining the Energy Commission, she served as Chief Executive Officer of MyPOWER Corporation, where she led the coordination and implementation of power supply industry reform initiatives in Malaysia.
Siti Safinah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Multimedia University, Malaysia, a Master of Business from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, United States.
Dato' Fraziali Ismail
Assistant Governor, BNM
A career central banker, Fraziali Ismail was appointed Assistant Governor on 1 November 2019. As Assistant Governor, Fraziali oversees matters related to monetary policy, economics and international surveillance, as well as data management and statistics.
He joined BNM and began his career in the economics sector. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has held various leadership positions at the Bank, including Director of the Monetary Policy Department and Director of the Economics Department. He also previously oversaw the Bank’s financial regulation sector, with responsibilities covering financial surveillance, prudential regulation, consumer and market conduct, and payment services policy.
Fraziali holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
Madelena Mohamed
Assistant Governor, BNM
Madelena Mohamed was appointed as Assistant Governor on 1 February 2025. As Assistant Governor, Madelena will oversee the Strategy and Sustainability sector, which includes Governor’s Office, Legal Department, Strategic Communications Department and the Sustainability Unit.
She joined BNM in 1993 and began her career in the Economics Department. Over more than three decades of service, she has held various leadership positions across the Bank, including Director of the Islamic Finance Department, Financial Surveillance Department, Prudential Financial Policy Department and the Sustainability Unit.
Madelena holds a degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Dr. Mahesh Appannan
Director, Digital Health Division, Ministry of Health (MOH)
Dr. Maheshwara Rao Appannan currently serves as the Director of the Digital Health Division at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, where he leads the nation’s digital health transformation agenda. With over 19 years of experience in public health, big data analytics and digital innovation, he has been instrumental in modernising healthcare delivery and advancing Malaysia’s digital health ecosystem.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, He led Malaysia’s national data strategy and co-developed the MySejahtera platform, one of the country’s most widely used digital public health tools. He also championed data transparency through the publication of national COVID-19 datasets on GitHub and the launch of the COVIDNow portal, setting new benchmarks for open health data in the region.
Beyond the pandemic, Dr. Appannan has driven the expansion of electronic medical records and digital health services, enabling millions of Malaysians to access their health information digitally. In 2024, he led the nationwide implementation of the International Patient Summary and currently serves on the World Health Organization Strategic Advisory Group for the Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN), advancing Malaysia’s leadership in digital health interoperability and innovation.
Dato' Seri Azmir Merican
Group Managing Director and CEO, Sime Darby Property
Dato’ Seri Azmir Merican has driven transformation across different companies over 15 years as CEO. In April 2020, he was appointed Group MD of SDP. The Company is rapidly transforming into a Real Estate Company focused at building a leading business for landed homes and high-rise, industrial development, and an Investment & Asset Management business for recurring income. SDP was named Malaysia’s No 1 property developer at The Edge Malaysia Top Property Developers Awards in 2024 and 2025 and was also recognised for Highest return to Shareholders for the sector at the Edge Billion Ringgit Club Award 2025.
He was named “Property CEO of the Year” at the FIABCI Malaysia Property Awards 2025 and was previously awarded “Outstanding Property CEO” at The Edge Malaysia Property Excellence Awards 2023, amongst other recognitions.
M. Huzaini Ghazali
Chief Strategy and Portfolio Officer, Gentari
Huzaini Ghazali is the Chief Strategy and Portfolio Officer of Gentari. In his role, he oversees the company’s enterprise-wide strategic and portfolio planning, investment governance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic communications, advocacy and key partnerships across Gentari’s renewable energy, hydrogen and green mobility businesses.
Huzaini joined Gentari in 2023 and has over two decades of experience spanning engineering, strategy, commercial development and portfolio management across the global energy sector. Prior to Gentari, he held various leadership roles across the PETRONAS Group in corporate and upstream strategy, LNG optimisation, business transformation and mergers and acquisitions. He also served with PETRONAS Energy Canada, managing upstream partner engagements and strategic commercial interests in North America.
Huzaini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, United States, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was a Sloan Fellow. He is also among the inaugural recipients of the MIT Sloan Sustainability Certificate.
Danial Rahman
CEO, Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (ASLI)
Danial Rahman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (ASLI), a Malaysian think tank owned and governed by the non-profit Jeffrey Cheah Foundation. Founded in 1993, ASLI is at the forefront of leadership and talent development, research advocacy, and strategic advisory for both the public and private sectors.
His professional experience spans law, public policy, education, and technology. He previously served as press secretary to Malaysia’s former Minister of Finance, Education and Higher Education, and has held leadership roles in both the education and technology sectors, including as Head of Growth at an Australian education technology company and Director at Sunway Education Group.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Danial is an active commentator on public policy and current affairs. He is a columnist for The Star and host of The Nation: Diplomatic Dispatch on BERNAMA TV. He holds a Master of Law from the University of Oxford and is a Senior Fellow in Public Service at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
Dr. Yap Wei Aun
CEO, Health Transformation Office, Ministry of Health (MOH)
Dr. Yap Wei Aun is currently serving as the CEO of the Health Transformation Office within the Ministry of Health.
Prior to rejoining the Ministry of Health, Wei Aun was consulting for the World Bank and the World Health Organization. He also served as the Country Technical Director for the Malaysia Health Systems Research project, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Harvard University. His clinical experiences include serving on the frontlines in a variety of hospital and clinic setting—in the United Kingdom, rural Sarawak, and Kuala Lumpur.
Wei Aun received his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard University, and completed his membership exams for admission into the Royal College of Physicians (London).
Hazwan Najib

Hazwan Najib is the Chief Executive Officer of ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn. Bhd. Under his leadership, ProtectHealth Corporation strengthens strategic purchasing through public–private partnerships to make healthcare more affordable and accessible for all, in alignment with the Ministry of Health Malaysia's national agenda.

Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki

Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales. She has over 20 years of professional experience across Malaysia, Australia, and the United States, spanning leadership roles in the public, private, and development sectors.
Throughout her career, she has held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Khazanah Nasional Berhad, and the United Nations (UN). Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof

Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof began his career as an Economist at Bank Negara Malaysia in 1992, specialising in international trade and exchange rate policy. He later served as an Investment Analyst at SG Research before returning to public service during the Asian Financial Crisis, contributing to Malaysia’s financial sector restructuring efforts through Danaharta and the Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee (CDRC).
In 2001, he moved into corporate advisory, advising on the Axis REIT IPO and holding leadership roles across the property, hospitality, media, and technology sectors. His experience spans economics, finance, corporate strategy, and business transformation across both the public and private sectors.
Dato' Azman Shah entered the port industry in 2011 as Chief Executive Officer of Integrax Berhad and later led Northport, where he oversaw record-breaking operational performance and numerous industry recognitions under the “Reinventing Northport” initiative. He subsequently served as Group Chief Executive Officer of MMC Port Holdings Berhad before resigning on his own accord in July 2026. Anil Gill has over 23 years of executive experience spanning commercial banking, investment banking, and strategic finance. He currently serves as the President of the Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM), having been elected in April 2025 after serving two terms as Treasurer. Nik Ahmad Rusydan bin Nik Hafizi is Deputy Director of the Financial Surveillance Department at Bank Negara Malaysia, with 12 years of experience in financial stability and systemic risk assessment. He specialises in stress testing, policy analysis, formulation and advisory, as well as financial crisis management.
His current responsibilities include identifying and assessing systemic risks and vulnerabilities across banks and non-bank financial institutions, as well as strengthening the Bank's financial stability analytics, forward-looking risk assessment tools, and stress testing capabilities.
