The workshop includes a short presentation on the key indicators and analysis used by BNM staff, followed by an interactive monetary policy case study where participants work through a policy decision. The session concludes with a mock press conference, giving participants the opportunity to explain and defend their policy decision, just as central bankers do. | |

This session will feature two presentations highlighting key initiatives supporting these reforms. The second presentation will focus on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and the broader digital transformation agenda. Beyond digitising medical records, the presentation will outline efforts to build the digital infrastructure and interoperability needed to connect the public and private healthcare systems, enabling more seamless and secure exchange of health information. Together, these initiatives form key enablers of MediAsas, supporting a more coordinated healthcare system that aims to enhance the quality of care, improve efficiency and strengthen the long-term sustainability of private healthcare sector in Malaysia. |
